AT DELTA CHARTER BUS

Delta Charter Bus is a locally owned-and-operated charter bus company that has been running commercial trips around Northern California since 1969.  Our passion is providing safe and reliable transportation options for school districts, businesses, and private groups looking to explore all that California has to offer.  Our Delta team contains fantastic and dedicated individuals whose responsibilities range from sales to maintenance to dispatch to driving.  All of our full-time staff are offered 100% health, vision, and dental care.

Delta is seeking full-time and part-time energetic, safety-minded Class A or B drivers. Air brake and passenger endorsements are required to apply, and SPAB or school bus certification is preferred.  Three years of commercial driving experience is required.  SPAB pay starts at $28 per hour.

POSITIONS

Delta is seeking full-time and part-time energetic, safety-minded SPAB or school bus Class A or B drivers. Air brake and passenger endorsements are required to apply.
 
As a Delta coach operator you will provide our passengers with safe, professional, courteous service to a variety of California destinations. Coach Operators are responsible for pre-trip and post -trip inspections, driving and maneuvering coaches, assisting passengers and their luggage, maintaining accurate vehicle inspections and accurately reporting driver hours and miles driven on paper and in the on-board electronic device.
 
Requirements:
  1. CDL required. Must have the passenger and air brake endorsements prior to hire
  2. Must be able to pass required DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
  3. Possess a clean driving record- this will be checked thoroughly
  4. Must be a careful, patient, non-aggressive driver with an excellent driving record
  5. Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays
  6. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Compensation for full-time certified drivers:
  1. Starting wage at $28.00 per hour for SPAB drivers.
  2. Employer paid 100% Medical, Dental & Vision (employee only)
  3. Paid sick leave
  4. Paid bonus every 6 months.
